Semi-Monthly Payroll

Effective July 2022, Dutchess County BOCES will be implementing a semi-monthly payroll cycle and discontinuing the traditional bi-weekly (every other Friday) process.

Standard pay dates will be the 15th and 30th of each month. Should these dates fall on a weekend or holiday, payments would be made on the work day immediately preceding. For example, October 15, 2022 is a Saturday, so payday will be Friday the 14th. In the weeks ahead, additional information will be provided through the Payroll department, specifically for employees paid on timesheets and those with administrative responsibility for their timely submission.

May Open Enrollment – Health Insurance

May is open enrollment for health insurance with BOCES.

  • All applications must reach the Benefits Office at the Administration Building on or before May 31, 2022. Changes will take effect July 1, 2022. https://www.dcboces.org/business/health
  • If you wish to keep your current coverage, you do not need to do anything. Your existing health insurance will automatically roll over into the new school year with only a rate adjustment.
  • If you intend to take the buyout, you must renew your application by May 31, 2022.

Vacation Day Buy-Back

General Membership Meeting

The DCBSSA Union will be holding a VERY IMPORTANT General Membership meeting in the Salt Point Center Gym at 4:15 pm. Topics to be discussed are:

  1. Bimonthly Payroll beginning July 2022
  2. Vacation pay out – forms and payment info
  3. Dental coverage with Guardian
  4. Position of union Secretary is open and needs to be filled
  5. Local dues
